Tan Chong Motor Assemblies Sdn Bhd
Tan Chong Motor Assemblies Sdn Bhd (“TCMA”) is an assembly company for Nissan, GAC and JMC passenger vehicles as well as commercial brands like UD Trucks and Foton commercial vehicles in Malaysia. Having established two plants in Malaysia, TCMA expanded its footprint into Indochina by setting up an assembly plant in Da Nang, Vietnam and another in Bago, Myanmar.
Today, with almost 50 years in operation, TCMA has produced over a million vehicles of various makes.
TCMA via its related company, TCM Stamping Products Sdn Bhd manufactures metal stamped parts, sales of automotive and modules parts for both automotive and non-automotive industries.
Truckquip Sdn Bhd
Truckquip Sdn Bhd (“Truckquip”), a subsidiary of TCMH, was established in 1984 to provide technical support and spare parts. Today, Truckquip offers contract assembly services for buses and trucks, bus body building, and produces its own TQ brand of mini and micro buses in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
Over the years, it has worked with renowned commercial vehicle brands and has successfully produced buses and trucks for both the local and regional market. Truckquip is accredited with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, demonstrating its commitment to delivering high-quality finished products that meet and exceed the stringent standards of each principal, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
TCIE Vietnam Pte Ltd
TCIE Vietnam Pte Ltd (“TCIEV”) is the Group’s first overseas vehicle assembly plant. Started with the assembly of Nissan Sunny CKD sedan model, the plant has undergone expansion into body shop and equipment upgrade to meet the future brands of model assembly programmes.
TCIEV is now producing TQ Wuling N300P, the Group’s house brand for light commercial pick-up trucks, for the Vietnamese market.
TC Motor Vietnam Co Ltd
Since 2018, the plant was granted the exclusive rights to assemble and distribute King Long bus in Vietnam. To acquire manufacturing knowledge and technology transfer, employees of TC Motor Vietnam Co Ltd (“TCMV”) were sent abroad for training at King Long factory in Xiamen, China and Truckquip assembly plant in Malaysia. The plant is accredited with ISO 9001 certification as an automobile manufacturer and assembler producing high-quality products.
In 2023, TCMV ventured into the agricultural machinery business with the introduction of Solis Tractor.
TC Auto Tooling Sdn Bhd
TC Auto Tooling Sdn Bhd (“TCAT”) is an ISO 9001 certified company specialises in designing and producing OEM vehicle Security & Safety Systems, Navigators & Entertainment Systems, and other accessories such as electrical power tailgate, horn, wire harness and etc.
In order to stay ahead of the curve, TCAT has invested extensive hours and resources into Research and Development from basic research to extensive technology development to ensure that we rapidly and continuously bring cutting edge facilities, innovative and high-quality products into the markets, both locally and globally.
