Job summary

We are offering opportunity for a Senior Tax Executive / Tax Executive to be part of our Group Taxation team based at our Head Office in Kuala Lumpur for a challenging and long-term rewarding career. The Tax Senior Executive / Executive main responsibilities include handling all aspects of corporate tax compliance of the Group and providing tax advisory support for the Group. There are opportunities for exposure to overseas tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling corporate tax compliance of the Group companies such as submission of annual tax returns, tax estimates, withholding tax returns, transfer pricing requirements.
• Preparation / review of provisional tax computations for tax provisioning/tax estimates and final tax computations of Group companies.
• Tax incentives applications.
• Assisting with SST advice in support of business units/operations across the Group.
• Assisting on special projects with opportunities for exposure to regional / overseas tax matters

Job Requirements

• Professional qualifications (CTIM, MIA, MICPA, ACCA or equivalent) and/or Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 1-3 years working experience in a tax/accounting firm or corporate tax department of major corporations.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of tax rules, regulations and practices.
• Experience/knowledge of SST and international tax is a strong advantage.
• Team player with good communication skills (both written and spoken) and ability to work independently while liaising with colleagues across business units or countries within the Group.
• Strong work ethics, integrity, good leadership skill and self-motivated.
• Analytical mindset with attention to details.
