About Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad
Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (“TCMH”) was incorporated in Malaysia in 1972 and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1974. From its humble beginning as a small distributor of motor vehicles back in the 1950s, TCMH has grown into a conglomerate involved in a myriad of business activities.
Today, TCMH operates as an investment holding company with principal activities in the assembly and distribution of passenger and commercial vehicles, after-sales services, spare parts retailing, education, trading and motor-related financial services such as hire purchase, insurance services, leasing and car subscription services, both domestically and internationally.
Our Presence
As we pursue our mission in extending TCMH’s vision in building an automotive stronghold in the region, we have made significant inroads into the overseas market, namely Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Taiwan. With our strong regional presence, TCMH gains a competitive advantage by leveraging its well-established network to expand its global reach and explore new growth opportunities.
