As an ERP Domain Lead, the candidate will be expected to communicate and work with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will be expected to lead and manage the ERP domain and carry out service management activities across the ERP landscape. The candidate will lead and manage the ERP team in carrying out daily activities and manage and monitor vendor service levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ERP domain, which includes Oracle, Navision and Infor LN systems.
- Lead and manage the ERP team in carrying out daily activities, including assignment of work to respective teams, attending daily, weekly and monthly operational meetings as required.
- Carry out service management activities across ERP landscape including vendor management activities, monitoring and analysis of tickets, reviewing service and resource dashboards.
- Liaise with ERP outsource support vendor, manage and monitor vendor service levels, and carry out review and assignment of tasks as necessary
- Set relevant targets and KPIs for the ERP team including own permanent staff and outsourced support vendor team members accordingly.
- Liaise with BU in investigating and resolving ERP issues, carrying out system enhancements or manage any major implementation where required.
- Carry out Business Requirement activities together with Business Development Team as required for any new ERP requests or proposals
- Liaise with Business Unit, vendors, project teams and related internal and external teams
- Provide guidance, briefing and training where necessary in respect of ERP matters.
- Assist the business operations personnel of the respective group to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
- To create and maintain a working relationship with the relevant stakeholders
- To facilitate the standardization of ERP processes throughout the Group standard ERP applications.
- Assist in the work processes and workflow in other non-ERP areas.
- Comply with all applicable systems development processes and project management best practices.
- Standardize processes to provide consistency in systems delivery and support.
- Develop and enhance policy and procedures to keep processes relevant and efficient.
- Coach and mentor junior staff to achieve personal career goals and objectives.
- Instill personal quality culture and adopt good practices in delivery of systems.
- Promote customer centric and service-oriented support and services.
- Support and collaborate closely on cross functional team effort.
- Assist the Team Lead or Head of Department in carrying out other additional and ad-hoc tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or its equivalent
- The ability to identify and understand the operational/business needs and to translate to operations terms for vendors/solutions selection.
- Good understanding of business and IT process flow.
- Candidates should also possess the ability to work independently under minimal supervision, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning System like Oracle EBS, InforLN, MS Navision is an added advantage.
- Experience in automotive industry a plus advantage.
