- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance. Review management accounts for yearly audit and tax estimation.
- Providing monthly / quarterly / annually management reports regarding the underlying performance of the business, leading indicator and key metrics.
- Maintain good rapport with operations, related companies and Group Finance all the time and liaise with the team on the required financial information.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with relevant accounting standards. regulations and company guidelines.
- Review and recommend enhancements to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures.
- Ensure all analysis reports, schedules and additional information required by Management are provided from time to time.
- Ensure timely preparation of relevant financial budget and forecasting. Maintain proper analysis and highlight of key variances between actual vs budget.
- Ensure proper and accuracy of vehicle and accessories costing, stock quantities, chassis and value records, maintain proper reconciliation and reliable records.
- Summarized of useful key financial figures and information including prepare of meeting minutes.
- Understand, monitor and ensure legislative company tax compliance, Companies Act and other statutory requirements across all business.
- Set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team growth and productivity.
- Perform and complete all additional/ad-hoc tasks appointed by EVP/ General Manager / DGM of FOCD.
Qualification and Education:
Candidate must possess a MICPA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/Degree in Accountancy qualification
Experience:
At least 8-15 years of working experience in Financial Accounting with exposure to Budgeting. Inventory and Costing.
Technical Knowledge / Skills:
Familiar with ERP accounting system
People Knowledge / Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing leading teams
