Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (“ETCM”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCMH, is the sales and marketing arm of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, a trusted brand name that has served the nation for nearly 70 years in Malaysia. ETCM carries the highly popular B-Sedan, versatile Multi-Purpose Vehicle, premium Sports Utility Vehicle, rugged Pick-up, Light Commercial Vehicle and the 100% electric vehicle.
With the implementation of the Nissan Retail Concept, we are progressively refurbishing our showrooms and service centres to adopt this concept to ensure the ultimate comfort for our customers.
Through Nissan Subscription Programme, ETCM offers our customers an option to discover the Nissan excitement, the debt-free way.
We are also the sole distributor for Nissan in Laos (Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Co Ltd), Cambodia (Tan Chong Motor (Cambodia) Pty Ltd) and Myanmar (Tan Chong Motor (Myanmar) Company Limited).
TC Euro Cars Sdn Bhd (“TCEC”) is the sole franchiser to import and distribute Renault vehicles in Malaysia. TCEC houses many exclusive and innovative models by Renault including the Zero Emissions Vehicle, Zoe. These models introduced some significant technological and engineering advances into the Malaysian automotive market.
In 2019, TCEC evolved by becoming the first original equipment manufacturer to offer car subscription services and a fully digitalised platform by launching the Renault Subscription and Renault E-Store, which is relevant in today’s landscape. Today, TCEC is the undisputed leader in the Car Subscription market.
Truckquip Sdn Bhd (“Truckquip”), a subsidiary of TCMH, was established in 1984 to provide technical support and spare parts. Today, Truckquip offers contract assembly services for buses and trucks, bus body building, and produces its own TQ brand of mini and micro buses in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
Over the years, it has worked with renowned commercial vehicle brands and has successfully produced buses and trucks for both the local and regional market. Truckquip is accredited with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, demonstrating its commitment to delivering high-quality finished products that meet and exceed the stringent standards of each principal, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (“TCIE”) initially started with the marketing of industrial equipment such as Datsun forklifts, Black & Decker power tools and NISALCO garage equipment. In 1978, TCIE expanded its business activity, driven by its appointment as the master dealer of UD Trucks in Malaysia. Since then, TCIE has become one of the leading distributors of commercial vehicles in Malaysia.
TCIE offers a full range of UD Trucks from heavy-duty trucks to medium and light duty trucks, including the renowned Euro 5 range of trucks which features the Selective Catalytic Reduction technology to significantly boost environmental protection and fuel economy through the reduction of nitrogen oxides emissions.
TCIE Vietnam Pte Ltd (“TCIEV”), a subsidiary of TCMH, was inaugurated in 2013 as the Group’s first vehicle assembly plant abroad.
Following the Group’s strategic investment scheme in Vietnam, TCIEV has significantly increased its production capacity, efficiency and technologies to cater for its current and future assembly programmes.
In 2023, TCIEV plant commenced production of TCMH’s own brand, TQ Wuling N300P light commercial pick-up truck. This is the first light truck product line launched in Vietnam, marking the cooperation between Malaysia (TQ) and China SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co Ltd (SGMW).
TCIEV also provide after-sales services nationwide to assist customers for their seamless experiences throughout TQ Wuling ownership journey.
Malaysia
TC Truck Sales Sdn Bhd (“TCTS”), a member of the TC Trucks Group and a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd, is the exclusive distributor, assembler, and after-sales provider for King Long coaches and buses in Malaysia.
TCTS ensures comfort, safety, and innovation for passengers and operators, backed by the Group’s extensive after-sales support network, aiming for exceptional customer service and business growth.
Vietnam
TC Motor Vietnam Co Ltd (“TCMV”), a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, was granted exclusive right for the assembly, distribution and after-sales services of King Long buses in Vietnam since 2018.
Malaysia
In August 2024, Waritan Automobile Sdn Bhd (“Waritan”) was appointed as the 3S Super Dealer for sales, services and spare parts for GAC and AION motor vehicles in Malaysia. Supported by the Group’s extensive automotive distribution network in the country, Waritan is committed to providing exceptional customer service through its premium sales offerings.
Vietnam
In February 2024, TC Services Vietnam Co Ltd (“TCSV”) signed an agreement with GAC Motor International Co Ltd (GAC Motor) as its authorised distributor to import, distribute and provide after-sales services on the GAC Motor vehicles.
